Themost useful course I have attended in college is Comprehensive English. In thoseclasses, we students learn different kinds of passages. Our English teacher,Miss Long, is a kind and experienced teacher. She explains the languages socarefully that we can understand the passages better. However, she never fillsour minds with vocabularies and grammar rules. Instead, she always encourages usto think hard and discuss in pairs. After that, she often asks some of us toexpress our ideas or make a presentation, so as to make us interested in herclass. Such activities as dictation, speech, reading, passage retelling, anddialogues are all include in class. No wonder her classes are alwaysinteresting and active. Sometimes, she also introduces some culture and customsof English Speaking countries, which is good for us to acquire more knowledgeand broaden our eyesight.

综合英语是我在大学中参加过最有用的课程。在这些课程中我们学生学到了不同的文章。我们的英语老师，龙老师，是一个善良、有经验的老师。她如此小心翼翼地解释语言，来让我们可以更好地理解段落。然而，她从不往我们的脑袋里塞词汇和语法规则。相反，她总是鼓励我们努力思考，进行小组讨论。在这之后，她经常叫一些人来表达自己的想法或做一个演讲，从而使我们对她的课感兴趣。像那样的活动有，听写，演讲，阅读，复述故事，对话等在课堂上都会有。难怪她的课总是很有趣的，很活跃。有时，她还给我们介绍英语国家的文化和风俗，这有助于我们获得更多的知识，拓宽我们的视野。

Allin all, Miss Long’s teaching style has a positive effect on us. Since it offersus more opportunities to practice and communicate. With the help of my Englishteacher, I believe I’ll be able to speak English like a native aftergraduation.
