河南省高考答题卡调包案调查结果公布

An investigation into claims that students in Henan province were cheated out of high scores in the national college entrance examination, or gaokao, has found no evidence of wrongdoing, disciplinary authorities said.

纪检监察部门近日表示，针对河南省高考考生的高分成绩疑被动了手脚一事，调查未发现存在不当行为的证据。

The parents of four students in four cities claimed last week that their children's answer sheets had been switched, resulting in them receiving much lower scores than expected in the June exam. They blamed malpractice in local admissions offices.

上周，4个城市的4名考生的家长称，自己孩子的答题卡被掉包，孩子高考成绩与估分相差太多，指责当地招生办涉嫌舞弊。

The provincial discipline inspection commission and supervisory commission launched a probe into the allegations.

河南省纪委监察委随即就该指控展开调查。

After checking the student's papers, answer sheets and surveillance footage from the test centers, they issued a joint statement, saying nothing untoward had been found.

The authorities said a review of surveillance camera footage showed there had been no switching of the students' test papers and answer sheets. Every exam procedure at the sites used by the four students was done strictly in compliance with set standards.

该监察部门表示，经查看监控视频，4名考生的试卷和答题卡不存在被掉包现象。4名考生所在考场的各项考试程序均严格按规定程序操作。

The investigation found that two admissions office officials -- identified only by their surnames, Zhu and Yu -- did not abuse their powers or collude with others to conduct cheating in the exam, the statement said.

该声明指出，此次调查没有发现省招办干部朱某某、于某存在滥用职权、组织高考作弊行为。
