中国电商就业规模逾4800万 未来前景仍将看涨

China's employment driven by e-commerce is projected to exceed 48 million jobs in 2018, said ASKCI, a industry market research and enterprise consultation service provider.

行业市场研究和企业咨询服务提供商中商产业研究院称，2018年我国电子商务从业人员预计将超过4800万。

In 2017, jobs brought by e-commerce in China reached 42.5 million, a year-on-year growth of 13%, while the country's total employment for the same period was 776.4 million.

2017年，我国电子商务就业人员达到4250万，同比增长13%，而同期全国就业人员数量为7.764亿。

That means one in 18 Chinese workers is employed in e-commerce or related industries.

这意味着，中国每18个就业人员中，就有一个正在从事电子商务或相关行业。

The huge employment figures are driven by the rapid expansion of the e-commerce industry.

数量庞大的电商从业人员背后的基础，是中国电商行业的快速发展。

In 2017, China's e-commerce transactions totaled 29.16 trillion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 11.7 percent. In the same period, the country's online retail sales reached 7.18 trillion yuan, up by 32.2 percent since the previous year.

2017年，全国电子商务交易额达29.16万亿元，同比增长11.7%。与此同时，全国的网上零售额达到7.18万亿元，比前一年增长了32.2%。

Jobs created by e-commerce have upgraded traditional industries. Large new business models driven by "traditional industry plus digital" have produced great new employment opportunities, said Mao Risheng, a researcher with Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

E-commerce has also become an important new choice for innovation and starting a business, opening up new employment methods for surplus rural laborers, young people returning home to start their own business, veterans and the disabled.
