Directions:Your are graduating from the university next summer and want to apply for scholarship of English Translation at Beijing Foreign Studies University for advanced study.Write a letter of about 100words to the university stating your qualifications,informing them of the enclosed materials and requesting that the application from be sent to you.

You don’t need to write the address.Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter,use”Li Ming”instead.

Dear sir,

I would like to apply for one of the scholarships that your department offers to students from other universities.Would you please send me the necessary application forms and any further details about the scholarships?

I am a senior university student and to be graduating next summer from Nanjing Normal University.I am majoring in American and British literature and has published many articles on special magazines during my undergraduate study years.I hope to continue my research work if I succeed in obtaining the scholarship.

Enclosed please find two letters of recommendation and my score report card.
