Murray looking in prime form dropping just eight games agaist Sousa and he didn't offer a single break point to his opponent. Next up Murray will face Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania

　　"He is not that tall and he hits the ball pretty big from the back of the court.　He plays aggressive.　He's a very flat hitter of the ball. Yeah, he's obviously playing well to beat a guy like Mayer that comfortably. It was a very good win."

　　On the women's side world number one Victoria Azarenka cruising through to the third round after defeating Eleni Danillidou.

　　Azarenka pummeling her way through the first set and although there was a little more resistance from her opponent in the second, Azarenka closing things out in just under an hour. However, Azarenka says she is not taking anything for granted.

　　"Never underestimate anybody. Anybody on a given day can play an outstanding match, you know, especially when they have nothing to lose. I was just trying to focus on one point at a time and not looking too much at the scoreboard or anything. Just really executing myself and stay in the moment."　

　　Three seed Serena Williams meanwhile, rolling her right ankle in her first-round match, but showed little sign of injury crushing Spain's Garbine Muguruza to advance.

　　Elsewhere, Maria Kirilenko knocking out China's Peng Shuai in straight sets. Final score there 7-6, 6-2. Caroline Wozniacki through as well after defeating Donna Vekic.
