Step 1. Warming up:
Introduction and new words learning:
Unit 11 Could you please clean your room?
In this unit we will learn to make polite requests and ask for permission. Everyday we talk, work study and live with people, a polite way to do these things is very useful and helpful.
Show the phrases describing the chores on the screen. Point to them and lead the students to learn them.

take out the trash,
make the bed,
clean the living room
Step 2. Lead-in: Game Show:
Get the students to remember the phrases on doing chores and the usage of them.

1. Ask questions politely about how to do chores:

②Could you please take out the trash?
Sorry, I can’t. No, I can’t. I have to do my homework.
Step 4.
Learn Section A 1a.
1 .Look at the picture and match the words with the pictures.
Key vocabulary:

3. Guessing Game:
In order to use the chores doing freely in daily life, ask the students to reflect rapidly in a limited time by watching the medium screen.
4. Pairwork:
1c. Practice the conversations in pairs. Use the questions in the box to learn how to make polite requests and ask for permission. It’s a polite way to ask like this..
It is always right for the students to love their parents. So it’s their duty to help do the chores at home. Love your family, and do some chores for them if you can.
