(BACK TO MAN SPEAKING) And the house started drowning, you see (the water) was buzzing and boiling there." President Vladmir Putin has ordered investigations to see if enough was done to warn people of the floods. More rains are expected over the weekend and the governor of the Krasnodar region urged people not to panic. ALEXANDER TKACHOV, GOVERNOR OF KRASNODAR REGION, SAYING: "We never had such a natural disaster, (we never had) such a volume of rainfall in such a short period of time. Naturally, no storm water drains, no other means could cope with it." Relatives of the missing scanned victim lists, searching for loved ones. TEXT:This monster of a crocodile is Lolong. He's blamed to have killed two people in the southern Philippine town of Bunawan, and was captured after a three-week-long hunt in September last year. Measuring 6 meters and 17 centimeters or 20 feet and weighing over a ton, the salt water crocodile was thought to be the biggest in the world when caught. And that's now made official with a certificate from the Guinness World Records. Bunawan's mayor, Edwin Elorde. SOUNDBITE: Bunawan Mayor Edwin Elorde, saying "We are happier, and we appreciate Lolong more, now that he's become more famous. We treasure him even more." And that's only natural as Lolong is now a tourist attraction bringing in revenue for the remote town. He's made around $60,000 US dollars so far. Elly Park, Reuters.

4【Rocket launch a boost for California start-up】

TEXT:This is Xaero - a vertical take-off and landing vehicle being developed by Masten Space Systems. The California start-up hopes the rocket will eventually carry pay-loads for NASA to altitudes of up to 30 kilometres, mainly to collect atmospheric data now unavailable to higher-flying satellites. Xaero can be flown multiple times per day. Masten says that reusable launch vehicles will ultimately make space more accessible, with more flights at lower cost. This test flight over California's Mojave Desert took Xaero to 444 metres - a record for the company. The rocket's take-off and landing technology also serves as a test-bed for space vehicles the company believes will one day be used for missions to the moon and Mars. And Masten says tests in the near future will be designed to take the rocket to its suborbital limit ...and bring it back safely to Earth Elly Park, Reuters.
