  On a warm Monday, Jenny Neilson bought a sandwich and parked her car under some trees. Rolling down the windows to

  语篇解读:本文是记叙文:作者和四个孩子一起生活,虽不富裕,但能维持家庭的收支,同时对孩子要求很严格,为了让孩子们高兴,作者攒下120美元,在圣诞节这天,与孩子一起购物。令人惊讶的是自己的女儿竟然用自己仅有的钱为别人买一个玩具娃娃。

  详解:

  1. 根据下文的food, clothes。

  2. 根据上文的if not a lot。

  3. 根据not knowing we were poor。

  4. 由第一段可知,没有钱买许多礼物。
