“互联网普及率”上升

中国互联网络信息中心日前在京发布《第29次中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》。《报告》显示，截至2011年12月底，中国网民规模突破5亿。

The Internet penetration rate rose to 38.3 percent, up four percentage points from the same period in 2010, increasing by 55.8 million Internet users.

互联网普及率上升至38.3%,与2010年同期相比上升了四个百分点，新增网民5580万。

文中的Internet penetration rate就是指“互联网普及率”，penetration rate就是指“渗透率”，例如telephone penetration rate
