away与off的区别

Away和off都可以作副词，在与动词搭配使用时也有相近的含义。具体应该怎样区分这两个词汇呢?一起来看看吧~

Away 副词，表示离去、离开、在远处，可以表示离开的动作、也可以表示离开的状态。并且，away在表示离开的含义时，不强调到什么地方去。

The bus stop is a few minutes' walk away.

公交车站距离这里五分钟徒步行程。

Please take it away.

请把它拿走。

Off 副词，表示走开、断开、分离、放假的含义。表示从一个位置到另一个位置。

The rest of the men had the day off.

其余的人放假一天。

He was just about to drive off when the secretary came running out.

他正要开车离去，这时秘书跑了出来。

Keep off the grass!

远离草坪!

I took the key for the room off a rack above her head.

我从她头顶上方的架子上拿下了该房间的钥匙。
