体坛英语资讯：Sporting press in Spain unanimous on Barcelonas superiority

For once the four main Spanish sports papers were unanimous in their opinions on the morning after FC Barcelona humiliated title rivals Real Madrid 5-0 in the Camp Nou Stadium on Monday night.

The two Barcelona based papers: Diario Sport and El Mundo de Deportivo and their Madrid counterparts, Marca and AS usually have totally different viewpoints over the two sides, however, after watching Barcelona' s magnificent display of football they had little alternative to reach agreement.

Barca simply outplayed Madrid from start to finish in the game known as 'El Classico' and goals from David Villa (2), Pedro, Jeffren and Xavi inflicted the heaviest defeat Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has suffered in his entire career as a coach.

El Mundo Deportivo went for the simple approach proclaiming "5-0" on its front cover and highlighting that "it was a magnificent handful of goals from a Barcelona side that gave an exhibition of football and is now in control in the league."

Diario Sport was also enthusiastic about Barca' s display, calling it an "Orgasm for Barca in the Camp Nou."

The paper dug into the history books remembering the last time Barcelona had beaten their bitter rivals by a similar score was 16 years ago. "Historic humiliation of Real Madrid. 16 years after the handful of goals they received in 1994, Barca again win 5-0 in the Camp Nou," proclaims the paper, which also has words for Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who was involved in a touchline incident with Barca coach, Pep Guardiola.

"The Portuguese player was ridiculous in the Camp Nou, all he could do was to push Pep," said the paper.

If they were celebrating in Catalonia, in Madrid the atmosphere is different with the realization that Real Madrid was totally outplayed by their rivals, despite making six summer signings and possessing the man the Madrid press consider the best in the World.

"Incredible football from Barca against a Madrid that had nothing," said AS, highlighting Sergio Ramos' red card. "Beaten and driven crazy...Ramos was sent off for a tremendous and absurd kick at Leo Messi."

And finally Marca, the flagship of 'Madrilismo' had to acknowledge the obvious. The defeat was a "Bufetada," literally a slap across the face of Real Madrid. "This Barca is a machine," says the paper and this Tuesday nobody in Spain can deny that fact.
