词根是什么?就是英语单词的“偏旁部首”啦!知道了这些偏旁部首,单词就不用逐个背了,真正的事半功倍。
举个例子:
假如你不认识immortal这个单词,但你认识了它的偏旁部首
即
im- 不
mort死
-al…的
那么就很容易推出immortal的意思,即不死的,不朽的
再举个例子“portable”=port(拿,带) + -able(可…的)即可推出,portable的意思为可携带的。
