LeBron James, NBA’s two-time MVP, will announce his decision about which team he will play for the next season through a TV show on Thursday night.

The contract between James and Cleveland Cavaliers has already expired on July 1 and then he became a free agent.

For the past month, basketball fans and media both have wondered which team LeBron James will choose to play for next.

There have been a number of rumors that this talented player had three possible choices: Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks.

Now, all speculation and suspense will be ended.

ESPN is dedicating an hour of prime-time to Mr. James's announcement. The program is called, simply, "The Decision," according to AP reports.

The show will be held in a Boys & Girls Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. James's managers claimed that his motivation for the special broadcast is charitable.

"Due to the unprecedented attention and interest surrounding LeBron's decision, we have decided to make this announcement on national television," James's business manager, Maverick Carter, wrote on the official website lebronjames.com.

"By doing so we have generated funds that will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. LeBron has a longstanding commitment to giving back to the community, and has worked with the Boys and Girls Clubs in cities across the country."

Jame’s fans even set up their own camp across the street from the Boys and Girls club more than five hours before the announcement.

"He's the face of basketball today," an 18-year-old fan said. "This is all worth it."
