体坛英语资讯：US coach pleased with fighting spirit against Slovenia

 U. S. coach Bob Bradley was pleased with the fighting spirit shown by his side after they battled back from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw from their Group C match with Slovenia here on Friday.

The United States were well behind at half-time, but goals from former Everton loanee Landon Donovan and Bradley's son, Michael, earned the side their second point from two group games. And Bradley senior was pleased with his side's second-half comeback.

"Again I think this team has shown that it has the fighting spirit," said the coach.

"Today credit must be given to the players. We still have an opportunity to progress to the next round," he said, "We will be watching tonight's game (between England and Algeria) closely and hope for a favourable result."

Bradley was also ecstatic with his son's goal, both as a coach and as a father.

"As for Michael's goal, of course you get emotional as a coach," he noted, "and as for me, yes I was happy as a father and a coach at the same time."

Slovenia had two goals ahead in the first half through Valter Birsa in the 13th minute and Zlatan Ljubijankic in the 42nd, and the Americans had a quick second half goal when Landon Donovan found the net in the 48th minute before Michael Bradley scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute
