体坛英语资讯：Veron, Suazo, Mendez lead the Americas best player poll

Argentina's Juan Sebastian Veron, Chile's Humberto Suazo and Edison Mendez of Ecuador lead the poll of The America's best soccer player organized by the El Pais. Three days before the poll finishes, El Pais said that they have recorded 70 percent of the votes for the 24th edition of the "America's Soccer King."

In the coach category Argentine Marcelo Bielsa, who coaches Chilean national team, and Uruguayan Jorge Fossati, who coaches Liga de Quito, champion of the South American Cup, are in the front.

The results of the poll will be announced on Thursday.
