Jamaica won the women's 4x100 meters relay title at the World Athletics Championships here on Saturday. Shelly-Ann Fraser, running the second leg, won her second title to add to her 100m win. The Jamaican quartet clocked 42.06 seconds with Bahamas taking silver in 42.29 and Germany third in 42.87.
.The United States, who won the last two world championship titles, was eliminated in the heats.
Both Jamaica and the United States dropped the baton at the Beijing Olympics last year and Russia won the gold medal at the Bird's Nest stadium.
