Reigning champion Novak Djokovic of Croatia will play world number two Roger Federer of the Switzerland in the last four after the world number three defeated Juan Martin del Potro 6-3, 6-4, and Federer downed German qualifier Mischa Zverev 7-6 (3), 6-2. Nadal and Verdasco created six break-point opportunities. He took four of his and his 25-year-old opponent managed only one.
