510 million square kilometers covers the surface of the earth of which land takes only 29%, that is 15 million square kilometers.

70亿人口，人均占地约20平方米。去掉不毛之地70%，大约5平方米土地养活一个人。

诚然，人生只是一个过程。从生到死这个程序是被制定的。愚人、智人都无能为力。多数人活一天算一天，只有极少数人忧心忡忡。一切都在自然发生，当然，结局也尽在不言中。因为，种豆得豆，种瓜得瓜。

Admittedly, life is but a process. As this program from birth to death has been made, both the foolish and the wise can do noting. Most people live day to day; only a few people are worried. Everything naturally happens, of course, and the end seems to be without saying, because you reap as you sow.

不过，在求生的努力上，人类的确不遗余力。林立的高楼大厦似乎缓解了一些占地问题;亩产粮食产量也在不断攀高;高科技种植物越来越多。

However, in life struggling, human beings have been keeping trying wherein high-rise buildings seem to have eased covering area, grain yield per hectare has also risen up and more and more high-tech plants are meeting the daily need.

另一方面，人类与自然的对抗也从未止步。树木消失的速度远比我们种植快得多;地下埋得好好的东西被越掏越空，被强行转换成大量二氧化碳;四季变成了两季。

On the other hand, the antagonism between the human and the nature never rests. The disappearance of trees looks faster than we grow them; Well-buried treasures, which are forcibly converted into a huge amount of carbon dioxide, are being emptied. Four seasons are turned into two.

人类会就此罢手吗?

Will humans keep their hands free from now on?

接下来，面临饥馑的人越来越多;资源争夺愈演愈烈;贫富对峙日趋明朗。

可是，农民做梦都想到城市扎堆。殊不知，一旦7天断水断电，得不到供给，人就会还原成兽。命都保不住，谈何道德与法律!满大街的汽车如同废铁，破落不堪的楼宇仿若一座座孤坟。

Nevertheless, farmers still dream of clustering at cities. Few can imagine people will be recovered from the beasts once they are in lack of water, without electricity and supply seven days off. Except life, one will care about nothing, let alone morality and the law. Avenues are filled with cars abandoned, and dilapidated buildings lie there like graves.

如果连连天灾再来凑热闹，多数幸存者只会是山野村夫。因为他们习惯自给自足，平房轧死人的状况也不会象大都市那么惨烈。

Had natural disasters come to add trouble one after another, most survivors would have only been those who live far from busy streets, because they are used to self-sufficiency. The situation of death won't be as severe as that of metropolis.
