Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is nothing like her Sex And The City character Carrie Bradshaw - she only owns two outfits.

The 42-year-old says she has an empty closet because she hates shopping for clothes - but admits to sharing her fashionista character's love of shoes.

She says, "Friends came by recently and after looking in my closet said, 'Wow! You don't have a lot of clothes'

"I'm not a big shopper, but I do splurge on shoes. I have about two main outfits which I wear to death and that's it.

"I feel I have to measure up to Carrie and that's hard."
