Johansson likes to flirt, be mysterious

NEW YORK - Did Scarlett Johansson have a fling with Justin Timberlake? She's not saying.

"We live in a world today where if two people are single ¡ª and one's a guy and one's a girl and they're both famous ¡ª you're going to be linked with somebody," the 22-year-old actress tells Seventeen magazine's May issue, on newsstands Tuesday.

"If it's somebody one week, it's going to be somebody else the next week. It's either me or Jessica Biel," Johansson says with a laugh.

Timberlake, a former member of boy band 'N Sync, and "Charlie's Angels" actress Cameron Diaz - who had been dating since 2003 - confirmed their split in January. Timberlake's high-profile relationship with Britney Spears ended in 2002.

Johansson, who broke up with Josh Hartnett last fall, says she's not focused on finding another boyfriend. If she were in a relationship, the actress says she'd create a sense of mystery.

"I can't stand mind games," she says. "But I think you should be mysterious and flirtatious. You should always have some mystery in a relationship. You don't wanna know what the person's thinking all the time. And you don't want him to know what you're thinking all the time."

What does Johansson, whose screen credits include "Lost in Translation," "Girl With a Pearl Earring" and "Match Point," like most about herself?

"Other than my ability to do the running man (dance) and the fact that I can sing all the words to Salt-N-Pepa songs? I think it's that I find beauty in unusual things, like hanging your head out the window or sitting on a fire escape."
