这么厉害!捷克男子开自制飞机上下班!

Frantisek Hadrava, 45, of Zdikov in the CzechRepublic now travels to work in an ultralight woodenplane after spending two years designing andbuilding the aircraft.

在捷克共和国兹迪科夫市，一名名叫弗朗迪塞科·哈德拉瓦的45岁男子，花费两年时间设计建造了一架超轻木质飞机，如今他乘坐这架飞机上班。

Based on the US design of light planes called Mini-Max, the Vampira aircraft cost him about 3,700Euros to build.

这架Vampira飞机是以美国Mini-Max轻型飞机为设计原型，建造成本约为3700欧元。

The plane has an open cockpit, propeller powered by a three-cylinder engine made by Czechfirm Verner.

这架飞机拥有开放式驾驶舱，螺旋桨由捷克公司Verner制造的三缸引擎提供动力。

Hadrava said that the aircraft, which is almost entirely made of wood, had a fuel consumptionof 6 liters of petrol per hour and can reach a top speed of 91 miles per hour.

哈德拉瓦表示，这架飞机几乎完全由木头制作而成，油耗为每小时6升汽油，最高时速可达91英里。

"It takes me about 12-14 minutes to get to work by car. By plane, it would take around 4-5minutes if I flew directly," said Hadrava.

哈德拉瓦说："我开车上班要花费12-14分钟，如果我开飞机直接飞过去需要约4-5分钟。"

However, Mr Hadrava can only use the plane if the weather is clear.

不过，哈德拉瓦只会在天气晴朗的时候使用这架飞机。

Mr Hadrava has also built a replica of the German World War One triplane Fokker Dr.I, and hisnext plan is to construct another historical plane, the French Deperdussin.

此外，哈德拉瓦还建造了一架德国一战时期福克Dr.I三翼飞机的复制品，而他打造的下一架则会是另一具有历史意义的飞机，即法国的Deperdussin.
