wh-ever 和 no matter wh-的比较

很多小伙伴都知道：

no matter what=whatever

no matter who=whoever

no matter which=whichever

no matter whom=whomever

no matter where=wherever

no matter when=whenever

no matter how=however

BUT，只有在状语从句中，是这样的。比如说，

No matter what weather it is, we will go to Beijing tomorrow.

=Whatever weather it is, we will go to Beijing tomorrow. 不管天气如何，我们明天都会去北京。

除此以外，当no matter wh-遇到wh-ever，总是会败下阵。以下情形，就是只能用wh-ever，不能用no matter wh-

1.主语从句：Whoever comes here will receive a present. 到这的人都能收到一份礼物。

2.宾语从句：He does whatever his mother asks him to do. 妈妈要他做什么，他就做什么。

3.加强语气，含有“究竟”、“到底”之义：

Whatever do you mean? 你到底是什么意思?

因此，总结起来，只要能用no matter wh-，就一定能用wh-ever，反之却不成立。
