没那么简单，END可不仅仅表示结束

1.in the end 意为“最后，终于”，多用作状语。

He calmed down in the end.

他的情绪终于平定下来。

2.At the end of 意为“在………末尾，在……结束时”，多用于指时间(如星期、年月)或地点。

You should sign your name at the end of report.

你应该在报告后面签上你的名字。

3.Come to the end 动词短语，意为结束，多表示事件的结束。
