　　compete指为了达到某个目的与另一个或其他人“竞争”，仅仅是为了争得名次、奖品，并不含有将对手征服的意思。

　　①conclude作“推断”讲时，表示“从……推断出”，与from连用。

　　②如果用-ing分词表示“结束”的方式，用by引导。
