　　这两者都有“基础”的意思，但意义不同。base主要指物质，而basis指的是非常重要且能发展的东西。

　　②辨析battle，war和campaine

　　battle指一场战争或一次战役中的具体战斗，可持续数小时或若干天;war是包括一系列战役的整个战斗过程;campaingn的规模和时间都介于battle和war中间，指在一场战争中，为达到一个宏大的目的而采取的一系列的军事举措。
