剧情简介

　　20年前，蒙面英雄佐罗被西班牙总督蒙特罗派部队跟踪，在反抗中，佐罗的妻子被蒙特罗杀害，还在襁褓中的女儿也被蒙特罗抢走，佐罗则被捕入狱。

　　20年后，为完成自己未了的心愿，佐罗戴上面具越狱逃出。这时，西班牙前总督蒙特罗仍在继续作恶，他正计划从墨西哥总统桑特阿南将军手中买下整个加利福尼亚的所有权。

　　为阻止蒙特罗的行动，佐罗找到被通缉的盗贼马瑞塔，把他培养成自己的继承人，希望小伙子能够摧毁蒙特罗的梦想。于是，传说中的佐罗面具传到了马瑞塔的手里，可是，当新“佐罗”执剑对准那位好胜的西班牙公主时，却发现她原来就是当年被拐走的老佐罗的千金……
