　　As one of the most fashionable phenomena today, online shopping also unavoidably arouses a great controversy in society, just like emergence of any new things. According to a recent survey, people in favor of it are far more than those against it. Some of its negative and positive aspects and my opinions will be offered in this essay.

　　When it comes to positive aspects, its very convenient and time-saving compared with traditional shopping. What you need to do is just clicking your mouse and waiting instead of going out by foot or driving. Moreover, more choices than real store are another attraction to customers. However, in spite of convenience and more choices of online shopping, we cannot turn a blind eye to its advantages. Obviously, quality problem is its first advantage. Its common that articles arent so good just as they are described online that customers always buy fake commodities. Whats more, its troublesome and annoying for many customers to make a change when they are not satisfied with what they bought online.

　　As a college student, I like online shopping but I expected that effective measures should be taken to make it better. Specifically speaking, government should work out strict regulations and rules to prevent unfaithful and unlawful activities of online shopping owners. Only by this way can online shopping become really safe and attract an increasing number of customers.

　　Blog writing, unknown several years ago, is a common word nowadays. People write about their lives in their blogs on the Internet. Blog writing can give people a lot. First, it is a way to relieve the stress in life by taking things out. Second, friends may look at the blogs, discuss the problems mentions in the blogs, and then provide possible solutions together and see the problems comprehensively. Third, if the people write their blogs in the language they are learning, definitely it is an excellent way to study.

　　Of course, there are negative points in this new type of writing. On the one hand, people may write about classmates or workmates around them, and these stories may be spread, thus influencing the relationships between people in reality. On the other hand, if people spend too much time and effort on blog writing, maybe they have no chance and spirit to have face-to-face communications. Consequently, their ability to deal with people in life may decrease.

　　For me, it is an easy thing. The most important is what people write and how people look at their blogs. People write things that they think can be shared, for example, comments on books or movies, feelings for the nature, academic questions. The information can benefit others without privacy being intruded. In the Meantime, blog writing is only one way of communication and will never take the place of face-to-face communications. If thought of this way, blog wiring may be an enjoyable experience to share information and opinions; but we can never neglect the face-to-face contact in real life.

　　As a basic skill in English studying, correct spelling plays a great important role in communication. However, nowadays, more and more students tend to pay less and less attention to it stead of focusing on only speaking.

　　Based on related surveys, the following can be concluded to contribute to the situation. On the one hand, some students themselves, to avoid making great efforts in spelling, prefer to choose such easy ways to study English as through E-dictionaries or computers, that usually causes them to make some mistakes in spelling. On the other hand, a great number of teachers seem to be more concerned with grammar and vocabulary but not spelling in their teaching practice to improve students grades; therefore, students inappropriately spend less time and attention on their spelling.

　　As far as Im concerned, there are many possible measures to be taken to solve the problem. To students, besides realizing the importance of spelling in exams and daily contacts, they should write as much as they can to form a goof habit of studying, that is, never read books unless write some notes|. To teachers, they should be stricter with students in correct spelling and make dictations be a class compulsory task. Only by joint efforts of students and teachers can the misspelling problem be solved.
