有关大学应该降低标准照收名人学生吗

　　Nowadays, it is not rare to learn that some universities have lowered their admission requirements for celebrity students. Some people object strongly to this admission pattern, holding that it damages the basic rule of fairness in education. In addition, they argue that it would be an insult to college education if a person academically unqualified was admitted.

　　For other ,however ,this practice is reasonable .For one thing ,they say ,since a celebrity has made significant contributions to the society ,it is understandable that a university lowers its admission requirements to reward the individual .For another ,celebrity students can be positive role models for their fellow school mates .many of the celebrities are self-assured ,hardworking ,and persevering and their stories of success can stimulate fellow students to follow their examples.

　　In my view ,it is a wise move for universities to lower their admission requirements for renowned people .On the part of universities ,it will enhance the universities/ reputation .In a word ,bending the rule for the celebrities benefits the favored individual ,the student body ,and the university ,so we see no reason to deny it.
