　　As is shown in the chart, cell phones are becoming more and more popular within China. In 1999, the number of cell phones in use was only 24,480,000, but in 2002, the number is more than 100 million, which is a turning point. The newest statistic shows that in 2007 the number has exceeded 500 million.

　　There are many factors contributing to this development. Firstly, a cell phone has no wires and can be carried everywhere easily.
