　　We should spray some hairspray on your hair.

　　Please spray some water on the flower.

　　2. medium a. 中等的，适中的n. 媒介物，资讯媒介

　　The blue cap is a medium size.

　　那顶蓝色的帽子就是中号的。

　　The clothes should be washed at medium temperature.

　　Her drawing is competent, but her composition is poor.

　　He is competent enough to fill that position.

　　8. competition n. 竞争，比赛

　　Everyone in modern society faces keen competitions.

　　现代社会的每个人都面临着激烈的竞争。

　　9. distribute vt. 分发

　　词义辨析：distribute, assign, divide, allocate

　　distribute: 通常指以整体或定量分为若干份来分配。

　　assign: 指按照某种原则进行的硬性分配，也不一定是很公平的。

　　divide: 普通用词，侧重将某物分成若干份分配给他人，当某物一分为二时，含平均分配之意。

　　allocate: 主要指金钱、财产、权力或领土等的分配，着重分配的比例和专门用途。

　　Please distribute books among the students.

　　把书发给学生。

　　10. disturb vt. 打搅，妨碍

　　They took the phone off the hook so no calls would disturb them.

　　他们摘下电话听筒，以免电话打扰他们。

　　I am sorry to disturb you.

　　很抱歉我妨碍到你了。
