高二英语语法惯用法：英语可说congratulate sb to do sth吗

　　汉语可说祝贺某人做某事，但英语习惯上不能说 congratulate sb to do sth, 可改说congratulate sb on doing sth。如：

　　■他写信祝贺她当选为劳模。

　　误：He wrote to congratulate her to be chosen as a modernworker.

　　正：He wrote to congratulate her on being chosen as a modern worker.

　　■我父亲祝贺我通过了考试。

　　误：My father congratulated me to pass the exam.

　　正：My father congratulated me on passing the exam.
