　　a) 现代的通信有助于交流，比如电话，email等，效率很高，而且很快。可以达到及时交流的目的，十分方便。比如你和你的父母离的很远，书信方式显然很慢，而电话或者邮件，既省时间，又可以随时的达到沟通,可以让它们及时了解你的情况。

　　b) 在人与人交往方面，阻止了meaningful，thoughtful的交流。Meaningful，thoughtful的交流需要面对面，有肢体语言作为辅助，很生动形象。比如一对情侣会以接吻的方式来表达对对方的爱，一个母亲会用抚摸孩子的方式来表达对孩子的关心等等，然而目前所有的高速交流方式都达不到这个要求。即便是可视电话，虽然可以看到对方的相貌，但是仍然不能让对方得到你的拥抱或者热吻。

　　c) 在学习知识方面，这些通讯工具阻止了meaningful，thoughtful的交流。听老师讲课是一种互动的过程，可以提问，老师的回答帮助更好的理解。老师还能给学生自己的生动的经验。而通过这些告诉通讯工具来学习知识，是一种被动的过程，而且电视中更多的节目是迎合了人们追求感官享受，而很少能提供有益的知识。
