新京报：语文教材如何选古诗文？

任翔：我们现在安排古诗文不是任意安排的，而是一个系统过程。其中一个重要标准是把古诗文和传统文化教育联系起来。比如，我们传统的节日有中秋节、重阳节、春节、元宵节、清明节等，我们会选取相应的诗文来让学生感受传统文化的魅力。
新京报：这么多能够掌握吗?有难度吗?
任翔：我们选取的这些古诗文多是琅琅上口、便于理解的东西，主要让学生感受和理解传统文化的精髓，不会有太大难度。
新京报：新版语文教材会删除哪些内容?
任翔：目前，语文教材改革的一大方向是强调文章的文字之美、文化之美，我们在增加传统古诗文的同时，也增加能够体现现代生活的文章，比如互联网方面的，而删除一些不太实用的文章。

教育部：将强化教材传统文化
据悉，最新版本的义务教育语文等学科课程标准是2011年版。该版语文新课标要求，语文课程应激发和培育学生热爱祖国语文的思想感情，继承和弘扬中华优秀传统文化。
昨日，教育部资讯发言人续梅称，按照新课标，教育部基础教育课程教材专家工作委员会在审查教材时，高度重视教材中的中华传统文化内容，确保其占有相当比例。
在习近平总书记发表不赞成在教材中去掉古代经典诗词的观点后，续梅表示，教育部将进一步认真贯彻落实习近平总书记讲话要求，在中小学教材中继续强化中华优秀传统文化内容，真正让经典嵌在学生脑子里。
