　　【动词do 的用法】

　　动词do 可以用作实意动词和助动词。在英语中是最重要的常用动词之一。do 作为实意动词，在句中作谓语，意思是做，干，实行制作当主语是单数第三人称时，do 写成does.例如：

　　We do homework everyday.

　　我们每天做作业。

　　We have nothing to do this morning.

　　今天早上我们没事干。

　　He does it very well.

　　他做地很好。

　　Do 作为助动词，用于构成疑问句，否定句。例如：

　　Im sorry.I dont know.

　　对不起，我不知道。

　　Do you speak English?

　　你讲英语吗？

　　Does she have a watch?

　　她有手表吗？

　　【What does he do?】

　　What does he do?他是干什么工作的？

　　这是一句询问对方职业身份的句型。也可以用What is ?来提问。例如：

　　What do you do?Im a teacher.

　　你是干什么工作的？我是一名教师。

　　What does she do?She is a worker.

　　她是干什么的？她是一个工人。

　　What is your father?My father is a farmer.

　　你父亲是干什么的？我父亲是农民。

　　【How many floors does the house have?】

　　How many floors does the house have?这个房子有几层？

　　句中的have 表示拥有，have 的单数第三人称是has,它是指某一物体拥有的组成部分。而There is in.则指在某处有某物。，含义不同。例如：

　　Our classroom has two doors.

　　我们的教室有两个门子。

　　My desk has four legs.

　　我的桌子有四条腿。

　　There are many trees in our school.

　　我们学校有好多树。

　　Are there any students in the classroom?

　　教室里有学生吗？

　　【We live in a place called Gum Tree.】

　　We live in a place called Gum Tree.我们住在一个名叫桉树村的地方。

　　A place called 叫做的地方。这是一个由过去分词+名词作定语的短语。Called 可由named 来代替。例如：

　　Excuse me.Where is the shop called Li Da?

　　请问，一个叫作立达的商店在什么地方？

　　Do you know a man named Jack?

　　你知道一个叫作杰克的人吗？
