英文中的说法就是：dog my cats。
Wiki词典上对它的解释是used as a mild oath, or as an expression of astonishment(用作一种温和的咒骂，或者用以表达惊讶)。
鼎鼎大名的马克吐温也曾经把它用到过大名鼎鼎的《哈克贝利费恩历险记》中：
