高中英语常见口语词汇讲解：If you please

　　If you please的口语用法

　　1. 用于较正式场合，表示：请；劳驾（比 please 更客气，多用于句末，有时也单独使用）。如：

　　Come this way， if you please. 请往这边走。

　　Pass me the salt if you please. 劳驾把盐递给我。

　　A：Shall I sit you up a little？我扶你坐起一点好吗？

　　B：If you please， nurse. 好，那就劳驾你了，护士。

　　2. 表示请求，意为：对不起；如果你不见怪的话；如果你许可的话。如：

　　I will take another cup， if you please. 对不起，我要再喝一杯。

　　If you please， well drink to Mrs Smith and the children. 如果你同意话，我们要为史密斯太太和孩子们干杯。

　　3. 用作较客气的命令或警告，可译为：请你！如：

　　If you want to come in， knock at the door first if you please. 要是你要进来，那就请你先敲门。

　　And Jacklet me know if you please the next time you use my dictionary. 杰克，你下次用我的词典的时候请你告诉我一声。

　　4. 表示惊奇或愤慨（常和now连用），意为：你看怪不怪；竟有这种怪事；此事真少见。如：

　　The missing letter was in his pocket， if you please！你说怪不怪，那封遗失的信竟在他口袋里。

　　And now， if you please， Im to get nothing for all my work. 真是怪事，我做了这么多工作，却将一无所获。
