送友人远行箴言：当心，别上当！
还记不记得第一次出远门儿时的情景？一遍又一遍地检查行李、一遍又一遍地听妈妈唠叨：出门要小心呀！千万当心，不要被人家骗了。
送朋友、家人远行，这句挂在口边的告诫语“当心、别上当”通常表达为“Don't take any wooden nickels”。是不是觉得很奇怪，“上当”跟“木制镍币（wooden nickels）” 有什么关系？难道很久以前人们就知道用假币骗人了？没错！这句相当流行的美国俚语就是这么来的。 “Don't take any wooden nickels”出现于19世纪早期，那时正值“大移居”时期，无数乡下人从乡村移居到大都市。这句话最初是警告移居者要当心城市里的骗子，那些骗子有时会用“wooden nickels”（假币）欺骗从乡下来的“外来户”。久而久之，“wooden nickels”就用来指代所有的欺骗手段和言行不一的行为。 看下面的例句：“Have a good trip to Chicago, and don't take any wooden nickels.”（到了芝加哥要玩得痛快啊！不过，要当心，千万别受骗。）
