抗战胜利70周年“纪念币”发行

中国人民银行决定自2015年8月20日起陆续发行中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利70周年纪念币一套。该套纪念币包括金银纪念币3枚、镍包钢纪念币1枚，均为中华人民共和国法定货币。

The People's Bank of China issued a set of commemorative coins on August 20 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the fight against fascism.

8月20日，中国人民银行发行中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利70周年纪念币一套。

“纪念币用英文commemorative coins 表示，是一个国家为纪念国际或本国的政治、历史、文化等方面的重大事件、杰出人物、名胜古迹、珍稀动植物、体育赛事等而发行的纪念硬币，一般为精制，限量发行。Commemorative表示纪念性的，如纪念柱(commemorative column)、纪念邮票(commemorative stamp)、纪念金币(commemorative gold coin)等。

20日起，央行决定陆续发行纪念币，该套纪念币包括金银纪念币3枚、镍包钢纪念币(nickel- coated steel commemorative coin)1枚，均为中华人民共和国法定货币(legal currency)。金银纪念币正面图案均为中华人民共和国国徽(national emblem)，并刊国名、年号。金银纪念币背面图案主题有所不同。

镍包钢纪念币面额1元，发行数量高达5亿枚，与现行流通人民币职能相同，与同面额人民币等值流通。金银纪念币可以在授权经销商(franchised dealers)和指定银行处购买，具有收藏价值。

除了纪念币，国家邮政局还发行了纪念邮票1套13枚、小型张(miniature sheet)1枚，纪念邮票的表现内容，为国务院公布的第一批国家级抗战纪念设施、遗址(museums and memorials)及相关历史背景。
