Chinese property prices in July deflated for an 11thstraight month in July, but the pace of decline wasits slowest of 2015.

New home prices in 70 cities fell by an average 3.7 per cent year-on-year last month, based oncalculations by Reuters from official data published by China's National Bureau of Statistics. Theresults examine prices in 70 Chinese cities: in June they had fallen 4.9 per cent, in May theywere down 5.7 per cent and in April they were down a record 6.1 per cent. July's deflation is theslowest since December.

However prices have deflated for 11 straight months now, indicating signs of strain in theeconomy.

But there was some good news from the country's two biggest cities. In Beijing prices rose 1per cent year-on-year, arresting a nine month streak of deflation, while in Shanghai pricesrose 3.1 per cent year-on-year, a second month of increase.
但是,中国两个最大的城市也有好消息传出。北京的房价同比上涨1%,终止了持续9个月的下跌势头。上海的房价同比上涨3.1%,是连续第二个月上涨。
