Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and wife Sophie Hunter welcomed their first child in June, foreign media reported.

据外媒报道，《神探夏洛克》中的“卷福本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇和妻子苏菲·亨特在这个六月迎来了他们的第一个宝宝。

A spokesman for the couple said: "Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son."

这对夫妇的代言人称：“本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇和苏菲·亨特很高兴地宣布，他们漂亮的儿子诞生了。

"We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks."

The news means it is a double celebration for the British actor who has been named a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.

The couple married on Valentine's Day 2015 on the Isle of Wight in England.
