中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平8月24日主持召开经济社会领域专家座谈会时强调，要坚持供给侧结构性改革这个战略方向，扭住扩大内需这个战略基点，从而更好的平衡国内市场的供给与需求。

President Xi Jinping on August 24 underscored the importance of expanding domestic demand by adhering to the strategic direction of upholding supply-side reforms to better balance supply and demand in the domestic market. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks at a symposium attended by experts in social and economic fields.
