中国国家铁路集团有限公司近日发布铁路先行规划纲要。纲要提出，到2035年，全国铁路网达到20万公里左右，其中高铁7万公里左右，进一步扩展铁路网络覆盖范围、提升运行速度，打造铁路强国。
China aims to raise its global competitiveness in the railway sector by expanding its railway networks with wider coverage and higher speeds, according to the country's top railway operator. The nation plans to build 200,000 kilometers of railway by the end of 2035, including about 70,000 km of high-speed tracks, according to the latest national railway plan, issued by China State Railway Group.
高铁动车体现了中国装备制造业水平，在“走出去”、“一带一路”建设方面也是“抢手货”。
The high-speed train is a showcase of China's equipment manufacturing capability and a much sought-after commodity in the country's "Go Global" and the Belt and Road initiatives.
