我们的生活离不开钟表。台钟是钟表家族的一员。

台钟的形状像个小房子，小房子上面像一道弯弯的彩虹高高地挂在天空。钟面上有一个凸出的玻璃镜，我透过玻璃镜面还看到了钟上有1~12的数字呢！我还发现两个“小眼睛”。这“小眼睛”是用来上发条的。告诉你，它可以连续工作15天呢！因此，它叫“三五”。

它的反面非常普通，中间有一扇小门。我打开小门一看，里面有一个小钟摆在左右摆动，摆动一下就一秒。随着钟摆的摆动，里面那些大大小小的齿轮在不停地转动。时针指向整点时小锤子就会敲铜条几下，发出咚咚的声音非常悦耳动听。

钟表的作用可大了。它告诉我几时起床，吃饭，睡觉。给我们带来很多方便。早上钟响了六下，我就起床，晚上我也按时睡觉了。
