BEIJING, March 21 -- The implementation regulations on China's supervision law will be promulgated this year, according to the top supervisory agency.
The supervision law, adopted on March 20, 2018, gives supervisory commissions at various levels the authority to oversee anyone working in public office, but many of its provisions are just principles that need further explanation.
The new regulations will follow the structure of the supervision law and focus on the use of supervisory and investigation measures, said an official with the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
The regulations will also clarify the rules, procedure and supervision on the work of supervisory commissions and make coordinated arrangements with the criminal procedure law.
