国际英语资讯:Kyrgyz president says ties with China at high level

BISHKEK, Dec. 25 -- China is a friendly neighbor of Kyrgyzstan, and the bilateral relationship is "at a high level," Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said here Wednesday.

"China is our neighbor. We are working to improve good neighborly relations and deepen cooperation with all our neighbors, including China," Jeenbekov said at his yearly press conference on the country's socio-economic development results.

"I can say that our relations are at a high level," he said of bilateral ties with China.

The press conference, gathering more than 180 journalists, was the second annual press conference of Jeenbekov since he was elected president in late 2017.
