BEIJING, Nov. 23 -- Building a new system of government governance is an important part of China's modernization, said Professor Wang Yukai with the Chinese Academy of Governance.
China's economy has maintained a high growth rate in the past 40 years, with its business environment substantially improved, which shows that the reform of the government administration system in recent years has achieved great results, he said.
Wang made suggestions on advancing the modernization of government governance. "In the future, China should continue promoting the construction of digital government, strengthening the orderly sharing of data and protecting personal information in accordance with the law."
He also proposed establishing and improving the systems and rules for administrative management using the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence, as well as speeding up the building of a national integrated government service platform.
"China should further deepen reform and open its door wider to the world, in order to address difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of the modernization of the system and capacity for governance," Wang said.
