中国经济正处于“衔接期”

近日，国务院总理李克强“把脉”中国经济时，首次提出了“衔接期”的判断。

Premier Li Keqiang presided over a symposium on the current economic situation. He analyzed the performance of the Chinese economy in the first quarter of this year and the country's economic prospects in the long term. He said that China's economy is in a transitional stage at the moment.

李克强总理近日主持召开当前经济形势座谈会。他分析了今年第一季度我国的经济形势，同时预测了未来长期的经济走向。他认为中国经济目前正处于“衔接期”。

何为“衔接期（transitional stage）”？李克强说，一些传统的支撑力量（traditional pillar industries）正在消退（declining），与此同时，一些新的力量（emerging powerhouses）则在成长（building momentum），有的新业态新产业呈爆发式成长（explosive growth）。但目前新旧动力转换（transition between old and new dynamics）还没有衔接到位（hasn't been fully completed）。

李克强说，大家对未来应有良好的预期（confident about economic prospects）。但绝不能忽视当前经济下行（economic downturn）压力，必须牢固确立忧患意识。我们的调控政策（economic regulation）既要利长远，也要稳当前（maintain growth），稳当前也是为了利长远。
