BEIJING, May 22 -- Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Monday met with British Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, in Beijing.
Yang said China attaches great importance to relations with Britain and is ready to work with Britain to enhance high-level exchanges and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
Prince Andrew spoke highly of bilateral ties, saying that the British side is committed to enhancing cooperation in innovation and entrepreneurship with China to contribute to building the Belt and Road.
