LONDON, May 26 -- A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in connection with the Manchester bombing attack, the Greater Manchester Police said on Friday.
The suspect was arrested this evening in the Rusholme area of Manchester, according to a statement from the police.
So far nine people remain in custody for questioning, and police have released another two without charge.
This is a fast moving investigation and "we are keeping as open mind at this stage", the police said.
