BEIJING, Aug. 19 -- A five-episode documentary about Chinese adolescents will air on China Central Television's documentary channel Sunday.
"Post-00s", a fourth part series, was produced by the documentary research institute of Beijing Normal University.
Since 2006, the institute has followed the lives of more than ten children born after 2000, chronicling their experiences from kindergarten to secondary school. Three documentaries have already been produced on the children's childhood.
"Over the ten years, these children have grown up and became more independent in thinking and actions," said Zhang Tongdao, director of "Post-00s" and head of the institute.
Based on the real lives of the children, the documentary will focus on China's education system, according to Zhang.
